Kevin Scott
Kevin is the founder of Behind the Tech. A lifelong photography enthusiast, Kevin has focused on helping others become engineers and on helping them find success in their careers throughout his 20+ years in industry and academia. Behind the Tech is an extension of that focus.
Kevin is currently Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft. Prior, Kevin served as SVP of Engineering and Operations at LinkedIn, building and leading its technology team through an IPO and six years of hyper-growth. Kevin was an early employee of Google, ran engineering and operations for AdMob prior to its acquisition by Google, and led mobile ads engineering at Google following the acquisition. Kevin is also co-founder of the The Scott Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit family foundation whose mission is to help every child achieve their full potential.
